As a recent college graduate I have extensive knowledge in the physical and biological sciences, including chemistry, geology, soil science, physics, botany. I have strong writing and reading skills, as well as personal interest in history and social science. This past summer I was an intern with the City of San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department in which I was responsible for planning and running environmental education summer camps for kids ages six to twelve. I received a BA in General Business from WSU, and was honored as a Cum Laude graduate. The courses were varied and included a wide array of math application, from supply and demand curves to interest rate calculations. My classmates gave me the nickname "Webster" because I was frequently asked to edit their papers and to tutor them in several different subjects. I love working with teenagers, and watching their faces change when they really GET a concept for the first time!

I am a recent graduate with straight A’s from Lewis-Clark State College with a major in Biology. I took many classes in math to receive my degree. Children and adults learn in different ways. Visual, auditory, kinesthetic are three ways that people can learn, I happen to be mostly kinesthetic.
