Having graduated with a degree in elementary education, I have learned the variety of students' learning styles and know how to target each child's unique style of learning. With a strong background in reading, English, and history throughout high school and college courses, I have been able to use engaging activities and multiple strategies to tutor and teach others. Since graduating from Missouri State in the fall of 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish education I have been substituting with Sparta schools and Republic schools. Before then I spent several years working with kids at book festivals and in Mexico through Second Baptist Church. I have children who are twenty one, seven, six, four, and two, as well as a granddaughter who is three.
