A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching, in some form, has been a part of my life for the last 20 years. During that time I discovered for myself that students learn in different ways. I believe in a positive and encouraging teaching style utlizing varying explanations. I love instructing one on one and seeing the lightbulb turn on when a student gets it. I am reliable, easy going, and eager to make a difference in lives, one at a time.
After obtaining a BA in Business Ad, becoming a CPA, and working ten years as an accountant/auditor, I focused my skills towards teaching. I taught accounting and business math 4 yrs at a business college and community college. In addition I have used extensive grammatical skills in writing audit reports and business letters.
