I believe that the most effective teacher is one who guides the students to finding the correct answers. Instead of simply giving out answers, a teacher should encourage students and help them along the process for them to find out the solutions on their own. By overseeing this learning process and helping along the way, the teacher ensures that the student will learn that they are capable of learning the material and further increase their confidence in academics.

During the last 2 years of my undergraduate career at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I spent time leading moderate sized tutoring sessions. Most of my primary education experience involved me in music. I played the piano for 16 years, cello for 9 and self taught the violin and some other instruments. I prefer tutoring with stringed instruments. I then transitioned to sports like tennis and soccer. In college, after changing degrees a couple times, I graduated with a BS in Biology, minored in Chemistry with a Pre-Med certificate.
