I have been teaching over 12 years in the area of Early Childhood and have tutored students in Spanish as well. I am very comfortable in both languages and try to keep learning fun and engaging. Teachers can teach to different learning styles to reach all students. Using pictures, written print for visual learners and using music, and leaning games that require movement for this kinesthetic learners are two examples. A teacher later can assess, test and check for student progress. Informal observation, oral quiz and questions can help one determine if the child is making progress.
