I graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in chemistry and alongside I had taken many biology classes as a prerequisite for pharmacy school.At UA I skip a couple of math and physics classes and got placed in Calculus II and Physics II. I attended pharmacy school for couples of years, where I took some advance biology classes and was very involve in group assignments and group study. I have actively been involve in tutoring students at lower grade levels to me for a total of three years. I started my teaching career in 1983 at Indiana Girls’ School in Indianapolis, Indiana. After teaching for six years I successfully transitioned into the business world for the next 20+ years. Two years ago I made a decision to return to my roots and completed the additional course work and appropriate testing required by the state of Ohio to renew my teaching license in Biology/Life Sciences. You won’t find anyone willing to work harder or with more life experiences dedicated to teaching in the state.

As a student myself I know exactly what I want and expect out of a teacher. Learning is exciting for me, and it is important to me that I convey the 'fun' aspects of learning to my students.
