July 2011 I graduated from University of West Georgia in Carrollton with a B.S. in Middle Grades Education. I began substituting for the Heard County School System in August 2011. When I was in middle and high school, I served as a peer tutor. I guess you can say that I have always had a desire to teach.
Just as everyone has their own learning style, teachers have their own teaching style. I see my style as more hands on. When I create lesson plans, I like to think outside the box and find ways that motivate students in connection to their interests.

I am a every highly motivated individual and a student who excelled at being a student. I graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2008 with three bachelor degrees: B.A. in German Language and Literature, B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature, and B.A. in Global Studies. I receive all three degrees in 4 years of studying. I also did three study abroad semesters at foreign universities: Die Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg in Oldenburg, Germany, and La Universidad Empresserial Siglo 21 in Córdoba, Argentina. A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate student I was always in the top ten percentile of my math, chemistry and biology classes, and as a result, I tutored fellow college students in those respective subjects. After earning my bachelor degree in biology, I worked as an educator at the South Carolina Aquarium where I taught interactive classes to kindergarten, middle school and high school students.
