I have been a certified teacher for the past 10 years. My rating has been highly effective for the last several years of evaluations, which means that not only do I know my content, but I know how to teach it to children (and adults). I have not only a degree in mathematics, but I also have earned advanced degrees in mathematics and in education. I have done tutoring on the side in the past, with my most recent experience being with a family for a 3-year stint. Experienced Math Teacher

I work well with students in a non threatening manner. It is my goal to make students feel at ease and comfortable in asking any questions they may have. I am able to explain mathematics in a variety of ways, so I can find out what works with any student. I emphasize the logic of math concepts in addition to just memorizing procedures.
I have been teaching and tutoring in all levels of math for many years. I am a licensed teacher in the State of Indiana.
