A Little Bit About Me...

I am in college as a senior this year. I am very good in Math and English. I took five semesters of French and still keep up with it every chance I can. I have tutored in pre-calculus with friends and helped a few in algebra. I adore math, to me it is simplistic and just one large logical problem. I have been role playing since I was little which made me a literate writer.

A Little Bit About Me...

Having been a teacher, I understand all teachers teach differently, much like a student learns in a variety of ways. My approach is to bridge the gap that lies between the two--working with the teacher to receive a better performance from the student. I have a passion for seeing a child excel in education because it means they will continue on to become a prodictive member of society.
Upon graduting from college, I became an after-school tutor, grades 4-6, focusing on all levels of homework and emphasis on students who had particular needs. I entered the teaching field in 2005 as a high school English teacher in grades 9 and 12. Explaining, showing, teaching, have always been something that I enjoyed doing. If I can pass on my knowledge to someone new then, my college hardships and achievements, were all worth it. It is up to educators to teach younger generations; without us they will not know anything. After all they, the younger generations, are our future. I believe that hands on, coupled with visual learning makes for the best recipe. This allows for students to engage physically, while connecting mentally. This is something I learned through my experiences. I would want our future to enjoy the same.
