I do not believe that there is a single correct teaching style. Each student is an individual and as in any other task we take on, it must be approached in a unique manner. I have tutored enough students to learn that simply put, different children learn differently. I think the best way to teach is to show students how they can break down problems and find answers to questions that may, at first glance, seem overwhelming. I have yet to meet someone who is incapable of grasping a subject, and I am able to stay calm and remain patient as students begin to expand their knowledge in areas that are new to them. While I am not able to learn things for a student, my job as a tutor is to provide them with the encouragement, support, and knowledge that I have so that they can obtain an understanding of their subject.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in Biology. I was a full time college lecturer in Biology and Anatomy&Physiology from 2004 until 2008. This past year I returned to school to obtain an MD. I am currently a medical student and have completed medical school level anatomy, embryology, histology, biochemistry and neuroscience.
