A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is to go head on with my students and to address every weak point possible. It is crucial to understand how the student both feels and interprets information. If a student does not seem to comprehend using a certain teaching method then it is imperative to find a different way to present the course materials. I have been very successful with my teaching methods and have received continuous high marks in classes instructed,(can provide student feedback documented by ASU if needed). Overall I love to interact with people and teaching is a people business.
During my master's studies I was asked to share my research in International Relations in Little Rock, St. Louis, Dallas, Waco, New Orleans, and Honolulu. I am firm and stable, but from the "old school." I believe that hard work does eventually pay off, and what is more important than teaching and training a child to work hard for their education.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a strong believer in teaching a student how to learn. By that I mean, students not only need to know a specific subject matter but also how to aquire and use knowledge. My background is mostly in math and it is what I enjoy teaching the most. I like to use manipulatives to teach. I think students learn better if they have a "hands-on" approach.
I am certified to teach in both California and Texas in a K-8th grdae classroom. In California I taught in a self contained 5th grade classroom. In Texas I taught 7th grade math. I also hold a supplementary credential in California for Business.
