I have 25 years experience in accounting. Also hold a BA in Psychology, a BS in Education and currently finishing a M.Ed in Education at UAB with a 3.8/4.0 GPA. I also am a member of the Kappa Delt Pi Education Honorary and Golden Key International Honour Society. I taught in the Prince George's County, MD school system and also served as a graduate Assistant at UAB. I am a Quickbooks Advising Partner and also own my own accounting business. I have over 20 years experience with all Microsoft software and several other software packages. I have trained students in test preparation for the GRE, GED, ACT and SAT. A Little Bit About Me...

I can teach with or without a textbook. My great advantage in privately tutoring for 10 years is in my being forced to work with all levels of mathematics; that is, while most teachers teach one or two math subjects only, I have had to brush up on everything from elementary algebra to calculus year, after year, after year. I know how to "read" students to figure out what they know, what they don't, and the course of action we need to take to get them up to speed FAST. My philosophy is in blending the Socratic Method and demonstration to give students the actual language of mathematics. My business has been 100% referral based for the last 10 years, and it stems from getting amazing results quickly.
