I've tutored two kids in my neighborhood for 40 buck every two weeks. It was a marvelous experience because they were very respectful young boys...majority of the time. It was kind of hard for them to keep their focus so i drew a plan which was rewarding them with candy and toys, and of course since it was my idea I didn't charge extra. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to tutor them anymore because had to move with my mother. All in all, no matter the task I will always try my best to achieve!!!

A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style caters to all types of learners. Once we have completed a unit, I test my students in three ways. First, there is an objective test. Next, there is an essay or written portion, and finally, there is a culminating creative assessment.
I have the best job in the world. It is so exciting to see a student smile when he or she knows they have been succcessful. I have been teaching in Alabama public schools for twelve years. My certification allows me to teach English, drama, speech, and journalism. For the last five years, I have thoroughly enjoyed tutoring students for the language portion of the Alabama High School Graduation Exam.

I would say my teaching style is more relaxed. I believe this helps one see students weaknesses and strengths better. It also allows one to compare the overall effect of teaching for each student. When I see a student falling behind then thats when I take action and try top get them where they should be in that area.
My experience is one that has taken me many different places to meet many diffrent people. I have always had a gift of helping others and conveying to them my knowledge. I obtained my BA in English Communication from Talladega College and also i have a minor in History. I have had a great deal of expereince in writng papers, essays, articles ,and reports. During my time in college, I also tutored Spanish speaking students in the usuage of the English language.
