A Little Bit About Me...

I began tutoring while in high school. I worked with children in Kindergarten and First Grade. I continued tutoring children through two Americorps terms with Communities In Schools in Ardmore, Oklahoma. While in college, I worked as a substitute teacher for the elementary schools in the Ardmore area. I now have my Early Childhood and Elementary Education Teaching License in which I am certified to teach Pre-School-8th grade. I worked as a First Grade Teacher at Charles Evans Elementary in Ardmore, Oklahoma from August 2008- August 2009. I worked as a Long Term Substitute at Ridgecrest Elementary in Lawton, Oklahoma from October 2009- May 2010.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love math and computer science. I believe all children that loves video games, texting, and the internet can grow to enjoy mathematics afterall that is how all of that was developed. I believe all children wants to learn but sometimes they shut down because it is hard. I can make learning fun and I give them the confidence they need to want to continue learning.
I have a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science and Statistics. I have 24 years of experience in software development for the U.S. Army. I have done ballistics calculations for nuclear warheads, geometry checks for rocket systems and developed the math procudures to do all the mathematical calculations within the systems developed.
