Four years ago, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from a local university. I received a BS in Rehabilitation Studies. This degree prepared me to work with our special population. My ultimate desire was to work with children. Therefore, I returned to UNCG and obtained my License in Special Education K-12. Over the past four years, I have successfully worked in the public school system. I teach at the elementary level which allows me to teach Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. In 1982-84 I taught Biology to pre-nursing students while attending school for Commercial Art at Fayetteville Community College. I coached personnel on computer skill (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as part of my daily job. I speak, read and write Spanish, college level.
