I use the preferences, hobbies, likes, and dislikes of the student to relate the information in which they are learning. I use examples from everyday life that helps them understand information that is applicable to everyday life.
I have been tutoring for over 8 years. I have also started youth tutoring programs since 2007. I have taught algebra, organic chemistry, physics, and other core mathematics and chemistry classes. Although I have taught in group settings, I prefer to tutor no more than three students at a time. I have taught grades from 6th grade all the way up to sophomore college level.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated May of 2010 from Guilford College with a BS in Business Management. In addition, I started my MBA program that has aided me to expand my knowledge in a variety of areas. Throughout my last two years of education, I have tutored students in mathematics, English, sciences and Arabic.
Ever since high school, I have always spent my time helping children doing their homework and studying for their exams. I really enjoy teaching children and over my many years of experience I have been able to quickly figure out how each and every child should be handled to be most efficient. I am really patient when it comes to dealing with children. I love to see the outcome of a children’s success after helping them progress. I believe every child should have opportunity and deserve the best education possible.

First and foremost, I love working with students. I believe all students have an ability to learn once you find the way to connect with them. I think the key is in finding that particular connection because each student is gifted in his or her own special way. All people learn differently, and I approach teaching with this understanding and appreciation of the differences in all students and their backgrounds. I think students benefit from a sort of structured guidance that sets them on the right path to learning the material but gives them the room and freedom to feel a sense of empowerment through their own discovery of the embedded lessons.
