Spanish is one of my top subjects! Fluent in Spanish. I lived in Argentina for 2 years, and had to communicate with countless people every day. I also have a Minor in Spanish.

I lived in Argentina fro two years as a teacher, where I taught in both Spanish and English. I have a Minor in Spanish, and am fluent in it. Spanish is one of my top subjects! I have had a little over two years of experience with learning Spanish. I acquired it in Mexico.

I have a great passion for Spanish. I try my best to use it as much as I can in my work and make an effort to use it properly. I learned Spanish while serving an LDS mission in Mexico for two years. I made every second count while I studied and spoke with others. I took it very seriously and still do. Since I have learned Spanish, I have wanted to help others acquire the skill as well. Although gaining fluency in a language takes some time and a lot of effort and studying, one is still able to learn many areas and aspects of the language from a tutor. Some of the most important things I learned was when I talked with others and asked them questions. That is why I wish to teach others and help them understand how amazing it feels to be able to communicate and think in another language.

If they are willing, and if they are taught correctly, every child can learn. No two children are the same, and should not be taught as such. There are so many different ways to teach and understand a concept, and I try to search out the technique that best fits a child in need. I am a firm believer that there is nothing we “can’t do” if we are taught in such a way that we can truly understand. To turn on the light, you must simply find the right switch. I never let a student settle for less than they can do, but I do recognize when something is not working and techniques need to be changed. I am patient, fun, eager to teach and willing to learn.

A Little Bit About Me...

While I was serviing as a missionary, I had the chance to train three missionaries. What that entailed was basic people skills, understanding the language, and helping them to gain confidence in themselves through speaking. That is what I would like to describe the way that I teach. It would be very time effective and they would see results very fast. As I constantly speak to them, they would be able to use the material and feel more confident in their abilities. Not only would it be a fantastic experience for any student, but I would try to re-enforce the idea that learning can be fun.
As a missionary for the LDS Church in Arizona, I was speaking with the Hispanic people for more than 10 hours a day. I am currently a student at Brigham Young University - Idaho where I am pursuing a degree in Biology with minors in Child Studies and Chemistry. I took general art the first three years and drawing and painting the last three years in which I got a certificate in. A Little Bit About Me...

It was a drive within my nature or inner self to pursue a course in Child Development and Family Relations and a minor in Psychology as I attended college at Ricks College and Brigham Young University. My direction following those events led me to teach as an assistant teacher and then as a classroom teacher at a private school working with the young children in Preschool and Kindergarten. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to first get an idea of what the student knows about the problem.. I find that the more time I spend listening to what they know it naturally turns into what pieces I need to add-in. Unless they came to the session to learn new material that would be a different scenario entirely in which it would depend on the student how I taught. I would have to find out what type of a learner they are. Whether it be a visual learner, if they need examples or are an entirely conceptual type of learner.
Throughout college I had extensive experience working with classmates while we solved math equations and physics problems together. I did volunteer work teaching English to children in Mexico as well as teaching English to college age students in Mexico.

I have found through my teaching that there is a motto that works very well in most situations. "Teach in such a way that it is impossible to not understand" basically if one can teach a complex subject in such a way that even a child can understand it then you are successful as a teacher. But with physics that is not always possible. It is all about the person learning not for me to hear myself talk and get through a lesson. All that matters in the end is what the student learned coming out of the the instruction.
I spent 2 years in mexico teaching in spanish. During some of that time i was the teacher for english classes. I graduate this december with my bachelors in physics, experience of working with classmates and helping other students as they helped me gave me years of experience working as a team on homework assignments.
