Tutoring that does not cost a fortune

Have maintained a 4.0 through out college with my lowest average being a 96. I have been ask by two publishing companies to review books for the upcoming year. Was asked and recommend by all professor to tutor on campus for the subjects I have completed. Member of the Phi Theta Kappa and on the Honors and Presidents list for the past year . First and foremost, I love working with students. I believe all students have an ability to learn once you find the way to connect with them. I think the key is in finding that particular connection because each student is gifted in his or her own special way. All people learn differently, and I approach teaching with this understanding and appreciation of the differences in all students and their backgrounds. I think students benefit from a sort of structured guidance that sets them on the right path to learning the material but gives them the room and freedom to feel a sense of empowerment through their own discovery of the embedded lessons. Ever since high school, I have always spent my time helping children doing their homework and studying for their exams. I really enjoy teaching children and over my many years of experience I have been able to quickly figure out how each and every child should be handled to be most efficient. I am really patient when it comes to dealing with children. I love to see the outcome of a children’s success after helping them progress. A Little Bit About Me...

I am hands-on and usually try to relate the material to the students in fun/meaning ways. I feel that education is key to a successful working career. If students need help with a subject, then I am more than willing to help - either through students seeking me out or analyzing their work for areas that need additional attention.
I have served moderate and low income students through AmeriCorps. My duties included running the after-school program in addition to helping student with their homework. I have also managed a multi-state campaign, and served as Vice President of an organization representing nearly 10,000 graduate/professional students.
