A Little Bit About Me...

I have earned a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and working on my Master's degree in Engineering Management. Both degrees have helped me gain knowledge in math, science and in information technology. My grammatical skills are good due to writing a lot of research papers and lab reports. In my spare time, I had help other friends in the subject of math of different levels, from college algebra to Calculus III.
I love teaching. Whenever a friend needed help, I was always there to help them out with their school work. I am a good tutor and I'm patient and considerate. My goal is always to make sure that they understand the subject rather than just having them complete homework.

Having been devoted to the welfare of children and families and valuing education highly throughout my life, I find tutoring a satisfying occupation. After vounteering my services for many years, I attained formal degrees in education, psychology, and counseling, with very high GPAs. I taught psychology and sociology for several years and have also tutored K-college individually and in groups for many years.
Recognizing that each person has his/her own learning style, I emphasize "application" of material learned. I do this primarily by providing examples of information taught and require my students to do the same. My approach to teaching is to create a friendly environment with positive expectations to enhance the learning experience.

Fluent in French, I am very strong in computational mathematics, optimization and linear programming. I have 15 years research experience in the design and properties of engineering materials. I have transferable computer, management, grant-writing skills. I designed and executed activity-based learning of mathematics and physics for pre-college middle and high school students from 2000 – 2002 as Co-Principal/Principal Investigator and Activity Coordinator.
