My comments on tutoring Political Science : I have a liberal arts degree in international studies and experience in the area.

I approach teaching and tutoring the way I approach sociology and human rights—with great enthusiasm and interest. Since my early college years, I felt the intense desire to make an impact in our world by influencing future generations. I wanted to wake up young minds to the multiple injustices taking place in their communities as well as around the world and instill in them the desire to change the world. Collaborative & Fun Teacher

I worked in the financial sector for 10 years and have a Master's Degree in Economics and Finance. Since then I have focused my efforts into freelance teaching, and have worked with students in a variety of subjects: chess, math, finance, language arts, history, piano, and writing, among others. Other subjects I’ve studied informally: literature, language, history, politics & government.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my junior and senior year in college, I TA’ed a finance class called options pricing for two semesters. Options pricing was a difficult subject. I worked very hard to receive an A- for the course, which turned out to be my favor. I had insight to the intellectual hurdles other students had to overcome to master the material. So, teaching them came very naturally. In addition, I abandoned the lecture format for a very interactive teaching format. This allowed the students to ask many questions and allowed me to gage the level of comprehension from in the students real-time.
