I have always enjoyed creating art. In high school I took all the art classes I could. I went on to study art in college. I learned studio art as well as classroom management. After college I taught art for two years at Mount Vernon high school in Illinois. I taught basic art classes as well as junior and senior design classes. I have also taught art for three years at the Christian Activity Center in East St. Louis Illinois. I developed and taught the art program for the elementary students.

Co-lead two Bible studies groups for one year; one of which was composed of students from a primarily Caucasian student fellowship as well as students from an all-Asian fellowship.
