Spanish is one of my top subjects!

I was Born in New York and raised in Puerto Rico and have spoken English and spanish since I was young. I am currently an officer in the Army, but teaching and Spanish are my passion. I have a BA in Spanish Education, I don't have a certification because I was move to a military base as soon I graduate. Right now I'm working on my Master Degree Online, based on Spanish Curriculum. While serving in the Army, I was assigned to translate and interpret from Spanish to English for foreign students joining the Army. I translated speeches for VIP Commanders visits so that way they would understand the speech as well on every event. I tutor kids in the neighborhood in a variety of subjects. A Little Bit About Me...

The reason I became a teacher was to transfer my love of music to my students and also to see the joy of their successes. There is nothing like seeing the smile of success on a students face. I care greatly for all students that I have taught and will teach.
I first started to study music when I was 11 years old. I grew a love for the clarinet and played for many years in middle school and high school. In college, I majored in clarinet and also studied all wind/percussion instruments as well as piano. I obtained my BA instrumental teaching degree (K-12) through Western Carolina University in June of 2003.
