I worked as a elementary teacher in Romania for about 13 years. I used to work differentiate and with a combination of classes. From the training I received, I learned methodics, how to teach math, science, physical education, arts, and develop other skills. I am patient and know child psychology. Don't want to substitute parents who have a great role in child development, I want to become the help and the friend of the kid, the friend who brings an alternative and new ideas in developing and performance.

My comments on tutoring TOEFL : Get taught in a structured environment with the latest review guidelines for the TOEFL test. You will be set on an agenda in accordance to your timeline up untill your test date.

I will be having you do questions and answers and explain the concepts and techniques involved with breaking down each question this way if its a lack in knowledge of the concept i will be able to identify and explain if its a lack in technique to understand the question and know what its asking and how to answer it then I will be able to identify that and explain it. I have found this to be the most effective and efficient way. Starting with a question and explaining related concepts can sometimes be draining and discouraging please be mentally prepared for studying hard and focusing intensly so that you can make the most of our time together I always try to be patient and positive if you prefer strict and more of a drill seargent peronality I served in the army and would be more than glad to accomodate how you learn best :) But If not told otherwise I will always be kind and patient ... read more

I love the one on one interaction a tutor has with the students. I believe all children have a unique style of learning and we need to help them find their own way of learning. For example some kids are visual learners, while others are hearing learners. My work as a tutor is to see which method is the best for them. I am very patience with my students.
