A Little Bit About Me...

I have been an Elementary School Teacher for four consecutive years working with students ranging from Kindergarten through fifth grade. I've taught both third and second grades. Second grade is the year students read A LOT so I have a lot of experience in working with students who are both struggling and excelling with reading. This past school year I had a class of students learning English as their second language so I have experience working with students learning two languages at the same time. Other experiences include Accelerated Reader, after school tutoring with Kindergarten, second grade, and third grade students in both math and reading. I enjoy teaching and believe that all students can learn. There are many ways to interest them; and with technology, all students will research and work with language and culture.
