A Little Bit About Me...

While practicing law, I taught several community education courses on legal subjects for Idaho Legal Aid. I also was a certified CPR instructor, but that certification has expired. I attended and completed the "Train the Trainors" course from the National District Attorney's Association and was chosen as one of four from 400 students to be a trainor at the next session. As a PSR, I worked one on one with students in the school setting and on an individual setting working on behavioral issues that prohibited learning in a regular setting. I also taught one on one, in an individual setting with these students. I worked with children from Kindergarten through High School.

As an Accounting graduate who graduated with honors, I committed myself to strive to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned an Associate degree in Business Administration with Concentration in Accounting, and Bachelors in Business Administration with Concentration in Accounting. These two degree have enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, writing, and accounting. Teaching is my passion. I started to realize this while helping classmates as early as middle school and have carried that drive with me through college and my teaching experiences so far. I have a variety of skills through work experience and like to use a wide range of methods to teach. These methods help me address different learning styles. I have a knack for helping students find better ways to study and learn.
