While practicing law, I taught several community education courses on legal subjects for Idaho Legal Aid. I also was a certified CPR instructor, but that certification has expired. I attended and completed the "Train the Trainors" course from the National District Attorney's Association and was chosen as one of four from 400 students to be a trainor at the next session. As a PSR, I worked one on one with students in the school setting and on an individual setting working on behavioral issues that prohibited learning in a regular setting. I will be honest, I did not graduate High School, but have had the privilege of homeschooling my son since Kindergarten. I am still homeschooling my son through Idaho Virtual Academy and will continue to do, because I have learned to teach him with the school, I have learned to tutor him in all areas of his studies. I have a bachelors degree in business administration and an associates degree in health administration. I have had experience teaching preschoolers and help my own children at home. They are currently in 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades. I enjoy learning and had a 3.6 GPA when I finished my bachelors degree. I do very well in writing research papers. My schooling was online so I have a great deal of experience writing papers. Everyone has different learning styles and a teacher/tutor needs to figure out what learning style the student has in order to help them reach their highest potential.
