Teaching is in my blood. Both my parents were teachers. My father was a college professor and my mother was an elementary school teacher. As a PSR working in the school setting I students that were considered by some as untrainable. Often the students believed they were unable to learn or were dumb since they had always been told they were. I was able to work with some of the most difficult. I would make up games and contests to get them to try something. I believe in lots of encouragement and was recently told by one of my former clients, who couldn't read or write in the 7th grade, "I am really going to graduate this year. I knew I could do it because you showed me I can do it." She did too!

I will be honest, I did not graduate High School, but have had the privilege of homeschooling my son since Kindergarten. I am still homeschooling my son through Idaho Virtual Academy and will continue to do, because I have learned to teach him with the school, I have learned to tutor him in all areas of his studies. I did work for a season with the Wellton Elementary School in Wellton Az as a Seasonal Testing Teacher, administering reading and word tests to Student of all ages.
I love teaching and working with all children of all ages. I believe that each child should be taught in the best possible way and encouraged to know that it is possible to achieve their educational goals that they can learn to set for themselves, and that they can do all things through their God given abilities, and with the potential that was instilled in them by God.
