A Little Bit About Me...

My classroom setting is focused on the student and their needs. I heavily rely on repetition and object lessons to aid the students in comprehension and application. Depending on the age group, the beginning of my class (10 minutes) will require some exercise and/or Stretch and Flex routines to aid the student in concentration, the next session will be review, and the last session will be new material. The background to most common disorders in adults is complex involving multiple genes, thus I used advanced fuzzy latent class analysis to identify high and low risk sets of gene variants and to define the level of risk for individuals. History is my major, and having spent much of my youth on the European continent with my father's duty assignments, it is easy to teach the events that have led to the present situations.
