I've gained experience with teaching in an array of ways. Firstly, I'm a recent graduate from BYU-Idaho in Piano Performance earning my Bachelor of Musical Arts. Throughout my training as a professional pianist I studied piano pedagogy and now have a functioning piano studio of my own. In addition, I was a music tutor and teachers assistant helping my fellow students grasp music theory concepts. Furthermore, I worked as a youth counselor at a summer camp called Outdoor Youth Activities (OYA) where we specialized in working with young teens. A Little Bit About Me...

Earning a BS in Economics from BYU was challenging and rewarding. To excel in such a competitive field of study required advanced skills in math, statistics, and logic. In addition, having studied the Russian language for 4 years (2 in high school and 2 in college), lived in Russia for 2 years, and tutored students of the language, I am uniquely qualified to tutor students interested in the Russian language. I also worked in the after-school program called "SAFE". My duties included working one-on-one with "challenged" students; physically, emotionally, and mentally.
