A Little Bit About Me...

At the Central High School of Visual Arts in Puerto Rico I took art classes five days a week for six years for two hours besides all the other academic classes we took that were divided by day A and day B. I took general art the first three years and drawing and painting the last three years in which I got a certificate in. I learned to make artwork through the mediums of pencil, color pencil, watercolor and acrylic mostly. In college I took a cluster in art and learned to use oil paint where now I am selling my work at the mall on the main a store in Rexburg next to Ramirez. I also took classes in drawing, figure drawing and color and design.

I have been a teacher and tutor for a few years. I taught in a high school English and Music. Right after I graduated High school I was asked to help struggling students and teach a bit when the teacher was gone. Also I have worked in Elementary schools I have taught lessons at least once a week. I have been in teaching methods classes and I have take Education psychology. I have also been able to in three months encourage students to improve grades that are at a 50% low to a 90-100% high.
I teach from the core of a person they have the inner agency to choose to succeed and they can succeed if they desire to be great they will be great. Also I believe in teaching through the nine learning intelligences as well as the six thinking hats. Also I teach by blooms taxonomy up to synthesis and evaluation. Recently, I graduated with my BS degree in physics. This major requires a working knowledge of advanced mathematics, and its application to real life scenarios. Working in physics frequently requires learning complex concepts, and being able to explain those concepts to peers for feedback. My degree required I write a senior thesis. Working on my senior thesis helped me gain valuable writing and communication skills. Helping others understand math and science has become a passion of mine.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a love for children and for learning. I believe in being patient and encouraging children to learn.
