My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : I have taught 16 credit hours of coursework on Shakespeare at the college level.

My instructional experience includes over 230 credit hours of composition and language arts instruction, including creative writing, literary analysis and Shakespeare. However, most of the instruction has been focused on composition. I developed a bachelor level English course for Pearson Education, working as a writer on a team of three; the course was deployed nationally at over 100 campuses.
Interactive! Students need to apply what they have learned, to reinforce the learning cycle.

As it relates to French Language skills, I completed 4 years of French in high school and 2 years (thus far) at Stony Brook University- currently taking 400-level courses in French Literature. In my Fall Semester of 2013, I attended the Universite de la Sorbonne (IV) as a Stofy Abroad semester, wherein I recieved my Certificate of Completion, passing High-Intermediate French Language courses, including Grammar, Phonetics, 17th and 18th Century French Literature, and Art History.

I believe in allowing the student to work most of the problems out for themselves. While explaining the rules of a particular word problem or paper topic is important, the student will only learn if he or she is able to come to the right conclusion through dedicating the time and effort into the project that they are working on.
