As a high school student, I tutored ESL students. I went on to college to earn a BA degree in Elementary Education. I had 3 practicum experiences among grades 3-5, and completed student teaching in grade 4. Within the 4th grade classroom I taught math, reading, spelling, social studies, writing, and science.
