As the daughter of an illerate parent, I have learned the value of being able to read and that of an education. My education is the second most important thing to me. A Little Bit About Me...

When I first attended Wilmington College, I was in early childhood education. I completed a whole semester of student teaching and volunteered for tutoring after school. I finally had decided that teaching was not for me because I wanted more of an office setting job so i decided to major in business management. I have decided that I want to pursue in subsitute teaching so that I am able to help children and spend more time with my newborn.
Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing! I was always the only person who could help my younger sister study for tests because she said my teaching techinique is very helpful and makes her remember things. I always wanted to become a math teacher, but in order to become one in a communist regime; you had to be a member in the Romanian Communist Party. So, I obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineer (172 credit hours). I was working as a designer in Romania and had in parallel a private math and physics tutoring business. At NEIU I finished a lot of credits hours toward my second BA in Secondary Education Mathematics. Meanwhile, I found a job as a Mechanical Engineer at Mercury Products.
