I have taught at the university level for 4 years and tutored all ages of children and adults for 3 years. The subjects that I have tutored or taught include English, mathematics, and the social sciences (economics, government and history). My MA in International Relations has allowed me to teach political science and writing composition at the university level. I love teaching all ages and skill levels. I adjust my teaching style to the individual - some people are visual learners or oral learners or hands-on learners. I teach by example and try to encourage my students to understand "why" rather than just "how."
I began college as an engineering major, so I have background in advanced mathematics and physics.
