My comments on tutoring Accounting : I am an accounting major at Ball State University. Accounting just seems to make sense to me and I have no doubt that I can help it click for you as well. Any person taking introductory Accounting will improve greatly with my help.

I am in my third year at Ball State University. I recently changed my major from Biology to Accounting; therefore, I have lots of knowledge in many different areas - some that aren't listed on my profile. I am experienced in categories ranging from Biology to Accounting to baking. I won several Grand Champion awards in Indiana's Madison County 4-H program for Baking and Woodworking while I have A's in Chemistry, Accounting, Biology, Spanish, Calculus, and many many other subjects from Ball State University. I like to teach as if I am one friend talking to another. I find that this is the most relaxed way to encourage learning. I love to watch people learn, to show them new things and watch them catch on to the processes and apply themselves. I am a believer of showing students several times and then letting them try it for themselves. If they still are struggling we keep working on it until we find a way that they can understand, that could be using the computer, paper, marbles, whatever approach they can relate to.

I am a strong believer in teaching through examples and letting students try to apply the knowledge I have taught them at various smaller stages, then apply it to the bigger picture. I love working with kids, and I think that with patience, understanding, and time, all students are capable of reaching their potential.
As an undergraduate, I attended Purdue University and worked as a teaching assistant where I ran my own lab, instructing students for one of their core management courses. In my junior year, I was asked to apply to an invitation-only program for an an accelerated MBA program only for exceptional students.
