A Little Bit About Me...

I am a big believer in stationed teaching concepts. A student must first, learn through audio and visual styles of learning through teacher-student interactions. I work on vocabulary strategies and skills next. The proper vocabulary background for any subject area should be clear and concise to the student. We next work on concept mapping, and linking common themes. There is a process to every step of learning. I will review often to look for missing concepts. Finally, independent learning is another station that is vital important. Assessing how a student can complete tasks on their own gives me an idea how well the instruction is going. I will learn and adapt from my own mistakes in instruction when needed.

I have a wide array of skill sets for report writing and research papers
I am a firm believer of the concept "know your audience", as each child may not learn in the same linear fashion. Children need to learn whether via spoken (lectures, slides,) or written word (powerpoint, research journals, quizzes,). I like to believe that the child does have will to learn and needs to find that niche of comfort in order to do so, whether informal group setting or sound strategic goal setting structure.

As a Syracuse University graduate, I studied at the Maxwell School and the Whitman School of management. Maxwell is recognized worldwide for its expertise in public policy and economics. I have taken 3 courses in statistics, 1 in calculus and 1 econometric course which is statistics and calculus combined. Also, because I was enrolled in 2 separate programs I have taken 15 credits of natural science and 12 credits of english. I feel well polished in many areas of academia and I work well with students, considering there are 8 teachers in my family and I've been around the teaching environment for quite some time.
