I am graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Tennessee Technological University of Cookeville, TN. I transferred from a 2 year community college in Harriman, TN known as Roane State Community College. Before starting college, I graduated from Rockwood High School in Rockwood, TN, where I never made lower than a B or a high C in some of my harder classes. I started taking college classes in my Senior year of high school and I was always in the advanced Math classes up until that point. I'm a quick, fast learner and always strive to be better in what I do. Right now, my major at TTU is in the concentration of Social Work, in which I hope to become a high school guidance counselor or a counselor in practice.

One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is seeing the progression of young students as they grow as humans and as learners. Knowing that I actually had something do with their successes at this particular time in their lives makes me feel really good about what I do. My teaching style is one that is usually calm and laid back. I always try to understand BEFORE I'm understood.
