The goal of a good tutor should not just be to get their students finish their assignments, but to help the students understand the fundamentals of whatever discipline they are studying. This MUST be a significant sphere of focus because students need a good foundation to continue their academic progression. Giving students the belief that they can understand any academic concept as long as they stay focus keeps them engaged in the overall educational process. A Little Bit About Me...

As "stay at home" mom of 6, I have used my two Bachelors' degrees for the education of my own children. I've taught them essential reading and writing skills, study habits, organization skills, science projects, practical application of principles, and a love of learning. I have also home schooled my children. I teach violin and piano out of the home and have spent many hours volunteering in the public schools with ESL and teaching early morning Spanish courses.
