As and art teacher,a riding instructor, and a person that is interested in special students, I love to help my students learn how to think and solve problems in the style that best suits them. My style may be causual or it may be very structured and organized. In many instances there is more than one way to find the answer to a problem. It is so exciting to see a student find their way through learning problems.
I have taught 15 years in the Missouri public school system. I have taught fine arts, K-12, throughout my career. As a cum laude graduate with my Masters in Counseling I am very much driven and motivated to help and assist others in their endeavors to achieve and do well. I have had several years of tutoring elementary students in math and reading. I have been effective at it and welcome the opportunity to do it again.
I enjoy teaching and working with children and watching them learn and grow. I value education and believe that a good education is crucial.
