A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate student, I tutored 5th graders in Math at Montevallo Elementary School. Through this experience, I learned that all students are different and require different ways and methods of teaching. I began to understand that being “in-tune” with children’s different learning styles was very important to be successful in reaching them. I’ve also tutored a 3rd grade boy in reading for one summer. I earned both of my degrees while working and caring for very young children. I feel this was possible because of my time management skills and determination to see a task through to completion. I have worked in the accounting or banking industry for over thirty years and truly love working with numbers.
