As a teacher at Thomasville High School, I instructed students in World History. I also assisted with tutorial for student struggling in various social studies subjects (i.e. World History, Civics, US History). Another responsibility I had was that I provided guidance and mentorship to seniors on their graduation projects. Some of my other duties assigned by the school administration were School Safety Team, Parking Lot & Hall Monitoring, etc. I also had the pleasure of assisting the school band director with establishing a national championship marching band program.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am caring, kind, and like to break things down to explain them at the level that people are functioning on. I believe that all people learn differently and it is a good teacher's job to find each child's leaning style and create opportunities for all children to be engaged in a way they will respond to.
I have a passion for children. I have a degree in Child and Adolescent Development, and have spent the past year working with low-income preschoolers. I am also to spend the summer tutoring some of my former students to prepare them more amply for kindergarten and reinforce skills. In addition, I have been tutoring a co-worker in spanish.
