I have worked as a journalist, advertising copy writer and designer; and teacher of adult learners in the areas of fine art, art history, and garden design. For 16 years, I owned a operated a successful garden design business and, more recently, taught in a local elementary school for six years as a fifth grade teacher, specializing in reading and, especially, writing. I occasionally write for garden publications and continue to create artworks and gardens.
