Every child is different I think it's first important to take time to build trust and figure out your learning style. in the meantime we have to peddle through the school assignments as well I know we won't sacrifice the semester and I won't make you do assessments or at least not lots of them. just by learning what you like to do and what you are already good at we can start to find some creative ways to make learning fun again.
You see my degree, McPherson is a very traditional liberal arts college so I have what would qualify as a minor in Social Studies at almost any other university. I have always wanted to teach. While in high school, I spent half of my school day being a teacher's assistance at an elementary school. I started my college experience at Adams State College in the Education department. During my initial years in college, I completed multiple teaching courses including: Intro to Education, Teaching Exceptional Students in a Regular Classroom, and Child Development. I changed degrees to broaden my opportunities but never lost my desire to teach.
