I have tutored friends and family for 4 years. I have also tutored others while in school and after school for 3 years. While tutoring, I try to find a way to help the student learn by finding a style that fits their personality; therefore, I do not have a preferred teaching style. I've tutored kids ages 6-14 and enjoy doing it.

My comments on tutoring Biology : I study biology all in high school with straight a's

I have years of experience I have been tutoring since I was in high school. I learned some very valuable learning skills that I can pass on to the younger kids or older kids I work good with both and because I am a lil younger then most tutors I seem to get a more positive feedback from the child then I would if I was ten years older. I cam help the child relate to what ever he or she needs to learn. If your are wanting your child on the honor roll and you know they are smart enough to get there they just need that extra little push to get there and I will be happy to offer my services thanks you very much for taking the time out to read this. You will be very happy with the results in three weeks or less.

I enjoy the wonders of discovery and assisting others with master concepts and practical logic that helps them in every aspect of their lives. Tutoring is not so simply as to aid a child in finding the answer or getting a college student to pass the examine. It is truly the disciplined approach to knowledge and truth that allows one to branch into new facets of understanding and truth. To tutor means to assist another in seeking real truth and understanding that will allow success and confidence to build.
I have a passion for language and rhetoric. Words, truth, knowledge, and exploration have marked my academic career. I graduated from Stephen F Austin State University in 2006 with a B.S. majoring in both Mathematics and Chemistry. I also have 20 college hours in Physics as well as 16 college hours in Biology. The educational goals of the departments is that it is not enough to do well on exams and homework, a successful student must be able to communicate the ideas and information to people of various levels of familiarity with the material. With this in mind students were expected to present material to the classmates, schoolmates and faculty in seminars from research projects. In addition to this I possess over 3 years experience teaching adults in professional development programs.
I love Science and Mathematics, and sharing this knowledge and these ideas with others. I emphasize problem solving skills that start with defining the problem, then identifying the relevant data given and always k ... read more

As an honor student at the University of Texas at Arlington I was very much driven to achieve a high level of education. I have tutored for the university in subjects such as Finance, Accounting, Math, Biology and Economics, during my undergrad years. Currently I am pursuing a Masters Degree in Accounting, and I serve as a supplemental instructor for undergraduate students in Accounting subjects.
I believe that all children can learn, although in different ways, and I believe that given a bit of positive reinforcement and helping someone to believe in his/her abilities enables them to reach their potential. I am extremely patient, and realize that everyone has different ways of learning, and given the right encouragement, children are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to.

Over the past 4 years being an educational instructor, organization, leadership and initiative has been the key to success. I have earned two degrees, BS in Biology and MA in Finance, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in the areas of math and science. Also, I have attended medical school for two years. Through my educational track I have been a biology, chemistry, and state testing teacher.
My teaching style is to teach the whole child. I acknowledge that not all of my students will be the same academically; but I know I can help each child on an individual basis and with a different learning tool. Being very creative is a must to make sure to keep them interested in their learning. As a teacher I believe that students should learn to make those decisions that will be required of him or her as a mature adult. The student must learn not only the particular subject, b ... read more
