I obtained a bachelor of science in chemistry from the University of Alabama. But more importantly, i was deeply involved with cutting-edge scientific research throughout my undergraduate experience. In essence, I didn't just study to pass my exams, I studied to understand the material so that I can be able to teach someone else. I have also tutored introductory physics I and II at the university of Alabama center for Teaching and Learning. At first, I started out as a "typical" tutor - and had one-on-one tutoring sessions with college students. The session lasted about one hour per student. As time progressed though, i was assigned a classroom with up to 20 physics students at a time.
