Lessons are designed to the needs of each individual. Each person is different and has a unique way of learning the material. It is my job to find out how an individual learns so that they will be able to comprehend the lessons at a hand. I have home schooled two child over the past 16 years. Both children have excelled in school and are my pride and joy. I am presently a substitute teacher, and a creative arts teacher. I volunteer as an art teacher at the local community center; It gives the children a way to express themselves through art.

I tutored math and science for Carl Albert State College from Sept. 1994 to May 1995. I tutored mostly in Algebra, but also in word processing, and anatomy and physiology. I tutored for Sheridan Community College in Sheridan WY from Jan. 2000 to July 2004. I tutored mostly higher maths, ranging from algebra to business calculus. I also tutored general biology, microbiology, general chemistry, and human biology. I also taught for Sheridan Community College from Aug 2001 to Aug 2008. I taught the pre-requisiete maths up to and including college algebra, as well as teaching human biology both in a traditional classroom and online. I use verbal and visual techniques for teaching and prefer to add an element of kinetic learning for tutoring. I explain the material in the book, preferably after the students have read the chapter. Over the years I have had the opportunity to tutor students of all ages in English, reading, reading comprehension & Spanish. I have also taught Spanish to elementary and high school students and to adults in night classes in our community.I have earned a BA in Spanish which has enabled me to gain a thorough understanding of the Spanish language and culture. Also in earning my Psychology Minor and through my classes in the education department I have become very aware of attitudes and behaviors which have helped me to better understand the psyche of students.
