I am about to complete my first year at IU School of Dentistry. I completed my B.S. in Biology at IPFW with a 4.0 GPA and love learning! Science is my specialty but I enjoy other subjects as well. I have experience so far tutoring college-level genetics, both high school and college-level statistics, assisting a student getting her GED online, as well as teaching organic and general chemistry to a student getting ready to take the DAT. I have been at Pennfield High School for almost 6 months now and I have learned how to incorporate the new standards into the curriculum. A Little Bit About Me...

I have had two years experience teaching religion at a university level. I was a teaching assistant and taught my own class. As a teaching assistant, I attended the classes, read the material, conducted study sessions, graded exams, quizzes and assignments, and helped students with material. The class I taught was Religions of the World. I developed the syllabus, created and presented the lectures, and created and graded the exams, quizzes and assignments.
I have found that students learn better when the environment is relaxed, they think critically and they write clearly. My teaching style encompasses and encourages all of these. Please do not be apprehensive or over enthusiastic about hiring me because I studied religion. I studied religion academically, not theologically. My religious beliefs have no influence on my academic or professional life.
