My goal as a teacher is to help students learn and understand Math. I believe as a teacher, you want to pass onto your students to excel in whatever they want to achieve in life. I find students today are in a very competitive and stressful environment in the classroom. The pressure to succeed or be above average is great and can cause the enjoyment in learning to be lost. Mathematics is challenging, and some students pick up the concepts very easily, while others do not. It is important not to lose the students who are having difficulty.
