Patient and Supportive, but always Persistent

I have logged over 5,000 hours of tutoring in the last four years. My comments on tutoring Writing : I see writing as a necessity and a strong tool for communication that all students need, no matter what career they eventually choose to pursue.

I recently graduated from Gordon College with a degree in English Literature and a concentration in Creative Writing. I manage two personal blogs, which include my non-fiction stories, poetry, and artwork, and I have published 5 different articles for various Gordon journals. I have worked at the Salem State University writing center for the last two years. At the writing center, I work with students on papers in all subjects, from math to English. My experience at the center has helped me develop methods for helping students plan and organize papers, and also for addressing grammar and style issues. I consider myself a very laid back person and am flexible in terms of addressing the student's concerns. I primarily work in subjects related to writing.
