I utilize elements of each of the five teaching styles; however, I prefer the I Do, We Do, You Do style of learning. I firmly believe in providing clear instruction and demonstration of each concept. Then, the student and I work together to master a concept. After that, I provide the student an opportunity to practice and demonstrate his/her mastery of the material in a variety of situations. My job at Trenholm occasionaly required me to tutor more than one person. I emplement many differnt teaching stragies depending on the students needs. Then, I taught Finite Math, Elementary Algebra, and Intermediate Algebra courses at Faulkner University and at Auburn University Montgomery as an adjunct instructor. This past year I taught high school math, science and Spanish at a Success Unlimited Academy (private). I also tutored K-12 students in math and science. My experience in teaching began as a UPS manager in 2007, when I was in charge of training new employees in UPS processes.
